Job Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain features within an existing SaaS application.
- Work across the full technology stack, including frontend interfaces, backend services, databases, and API integrations.
- Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement reliable solutions.
- Develop and maintain secure, scalable applications supporting multiple customers.
- Collaborate directly with leadership to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Integrate third-party APIs and services into the application.
- Review and improve existing code, application performance, and security practices.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity while maintaining high standards for code quality.
- Contribute to technical documentation, testing, and ongoing improvements to development processes.
- Support application security, access controls, and compliance readiness initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4+ years of professional software development experience building and supporting production web applications.
- 2+ years of experience with TypeScript or comparable JavaScript development experience.
- Strong experience with React and modern frontend development.
- Experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
- Experience developing and integrating backend services and REST APIs.
- Understanding of application security, authentication, authorization, and secure data access.
- Experience with Git-based source control and collaborative development workflows.
- Demonstrated ability to independently develop, deploy, and maintain production software.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working in a small, collaborative environment with a high degree of ownership.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Supabase, including PostgreSQL, authentication, storage, or Edge Functions.
- Experience building multi-tenant SaaS applications.
- Familiarity with row-level security and data isolation.
- Experience with AWS services or other cloud platforms.
- Experience integrating payment processing, document management, or other third-party services.
- Familiarity with SOC 2, security compliance, or related audit preparation.
- Experience using AI-assisted software development tools.
