ROI Comparison v2
Recruiting fee calculator
What would your next hires cost with Providence instead of an agency?
Set your hiring volume and what you pay agencies today. Providence works on a fixed fee per hire, half at kickoff and half when your candidate accepts, so the fee runs well below a contingency percentage.

The fee schedule
Quoted off the role's posted salary midpoint| First-year salary | Fixed fee | Kickoff / on hire | Effective rate |
|---|
One number per role, agreed before the search starts. If your candidate negotiates a higher salary, the fee doesn't move.
When you pay
You commit earlier, and that commitment is exactly what lets Providence charge a fixed fee instead of a percentage. The kickoff payment covers the search itself and isn't refunded if you decide not to hire; the balance is only due when your candidate accepts, and every hire carries a 90-day replacement guarantee.

Why a fixed fee, and why split it
Percentage fees punish you for paying well. A 25% contingency fee on a $90k hire is $22,500; on a $150k hire it's $37,500 for the same work. A fixed fee separates what you pay for recruiting from what you pay your people.
Contingency pricing bakes in the searches that never close. An agency that only gets paid on placement prices every fee to cover the ones that don't land. A kickoff payment takes that risk out of the fee, which is where most of the reduction comes from.
Small hiring programs shouldn't force a headcount decision. Under about 20 hires a year, adding a full-time recruiter means paying a salary whether or not the pipeline is full. Providence gives you a bench you can use when you need it and stop paying for when you don't.
If you already have a team, this is your overflow. For the roles your recruiters can't reach, or the quarters they can't absorb, the same fixed fee applies per hire, with no retainer.
What if we don't end up hiring?
The kickoff payment is an engagement fee for the search work, so it isn't refunded. The second half is never billed unless you hire. That's the trade: you take on a share of the risk that a contingency agency prices into every fee, and in return the fee is a fraction of the contingency rate.
Is there a guarantee on the hire?
Yes. If a hire leaves or is let go within 90 days, Providence re-runs the search at no additional fee.
What's included in the fee?
Search, screening, interview coordination and offer support for one role. Tools and sourcing are Providence's cost, not yours.
What happens above 20 hires a year?
At that volume a per-hire fee stops being the right shape. We'll structure volume terms around your plan instead.

Send us the roles and we'll come back with a fixed number for each one, no retainer.
